My fuel pump got wet back in 2008 when the flood hit andhas now locked up. I plan to fix that and rewire the whole car. After that I have to get someone to look at it and tell me what must be done to get it certified so they will let me on the track. I already know I need a trans shield and window net but as far as the chassis I don't know.

I got a pretty wimpy project compared to the racers... but I am pulling & freshening up the 327/275 in the 68 Chevelle. Keeping it totally stock except a small cam & headers. keeping the 194 heads, to retain the cars original state w/ matching # motor. As much as I hate to do it, I am going to buy the correct QJ carb for it too... then detail the engine bay, throw in a new clutch, then be done w/ drive train.

A buddy at work is going to paint her this spring so she will a deep Black w/a heavy clear coat gloss. She will not be maroon/cordovan "NN" color anymore. Seriously.... a black on black 68??? does it get any better??? You watch; I will be cussing that black paint down the road... I know. Thats it for me.

Woo Hoo, got my new fire suit today. Much nicer than the Jeg's -5 suit I have been wearing. Also got my tires in today. Goodyear took off the whole week after Christmas so they took a while. Got my Digital Delay dial in board Wednesday.

I'm like a kid in a candy store.
