Default rear disk brake drag

The problem I am having is the rear disk brakes are not backing off all the way. I just installed a 9" out of a Lincoln that had the disk brakes already set up. I know that disk brakes require a lower constant presure but can't figure out how to stop the rear brakes from dragging. Is the only way to cure this problem replacing the master cylinder or is there a check valve of some sort in the master cylinder that I replaced had drum brakes.
