Default Engine Oils in a Drag Racing Application

I have a Big Block Ford that runs on Methanol. I have had bad luck with a lot of different oils......they break down quickly. After watching ESPN2 a few months back I seen Chris Demke (TAD) running a product called CleanBoost Performance Oil. I called this group and bought some of their 15w40 for my drag car.......since then, no engine failures and I can run 10 to 15 times down the 1/4 mile without draining the oil. This stuff really works.

Check them out at www.cleanboostoil.com

10-15 runs on just a normal big block ford on alky ? I assume bracket racing ? or what ?

I've ran as far as 50 with alky carb and alky injection and looked like new when I've drained it. vr1

How many engine failures did you have per brand of oil.
Which was the worst oil? What was the "failure" that you had?

Were you using a Fram filter????????? That may have been you problem the whole time.

You should place adds in the Classified section.

Does this smell like spam to anyone else? 15 passes LOL. That's just a good two day race. I would throw stuff at someone that tried to drain my oil at 15 passes. :x

Have used it for years with no problems.

To change oil every other race is crazy and a waste at the cost of the oil. I spend around 70.00 when i change out mine and thats around 50 passes or more depending on how it looks.

LOL
You would have to get at least semi-final money each week just to keep the oil changed
