Good choice, .. nice head, and responds well to porting.

Did you get the CnC chamber option??, .. BIG power gain for
VERY little money from Brodix, ..

Cheers,

Curtis

No..only because I bought them from Competition Products...For whatever reason they were cheaper than ordering from the Brodix catalog that I have.. I had a budget of around $3600 and I decided to go with out of the box heads for this year so that I would have money left over to put toward some shaft mount rockers ,then next winter have some port work done. I also figured that it would be sorta neat to be able to see just how much I gained from the port work.

joe sherman built a 540 using 315 cnc afr heads with his 10.5:1 compression got 752torque and 829 horseypower.it is posted in this or another forum somewhere.that was a 4000-6500 rpm motor.so to answer your question if i was in your shoes id place my bet on the 335 afr heads.

let me ask you this...how often do you see magazine articles include brodix heads???how often afrs???my last 10 yrs of reading them will point to overwhelming afr heads being used more than others!!!

also i know numbers arnt everything when comparing airflow...but compare just about any other head to the afr when looking at the same port size and clearly brodix is usually lower than dart canfield and especially the afr's.

i have dart 355s on my pump gas 572 and wish i woulda put my nickels on the 335's cause they are good for the ceiling of 7000 which was what my goal is also.
