Default How many guys use Oil catch cans

you guys use Oil catch cans,
If so what fittings AN or npt?

Got a Moroso catch can with AN fittings. Its 1 litre. We have just be told be now need a 4 litre can mounted in the trunk.

I own a Mopar so therefore mine don't leak oil, So i don't need a catch can :!: :!: You must own a chebbie that leaks :!: :!:

Mopar you have to put oil in it and run it to get it to leak. :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Was that by the sanctioning body in NZ? It's probably a good idea as fast as you're running if you ever burned a piston on a run that 1 litre tank would fill up in a second and would be a recipe for disaster. Being in the trunk would clear the slicks if that were too happen.

Yep. The NZDRA changed the rule this season. It is a good idea but a pain in the arse too.
