Default Time for a job change.

Well I parked my redi-mix truck for the last time today. I got a call on Wednesday for a full time job offer from the county road comm. I start there on Monday and in June thru August possibly working 4-10's. Would be great with 3 day weekends and be able to get to the track on Fridays for testing.
What's ironic is I started working for this redi-mix company on 5-17-04 and my last day was on 5-17-13. I will really miss some of the guys I worked with, but looking forward to working with these guys that I worked with last winter as a temporary employee.

Way to go! I seem to remember you mentioning the chance to get the job a few months back.

Yeah Chris, I worked there through the winter as a temp plowing snow. I had to go back to the concrete job in April till they had some some openings and it worked out.

Beast,
It's always great to be going to a job/company that you want to go to. And have off days that you like. Plus, you'll probably have much better benefits/retirement with the county. Good luck on your first day tomorrow!!! dgh
