thanks alot for all your replays and input it helped me alot.
i use a 5" .040" thick disk and wow it all i have to say i also wraped it in duct tape and came out perfect everytime

the $8 turn out way better and was easier to do then the #6

i use cable cutters...slices right thru ( e-z)...place the tape where you want to cut place cutters on the tape and squeeze the handles...WAL-LA.

So many ways!! Here's mine: hold real tight with a couple of vise grips, then get ur sawsall out, & with a big vise, twist one vise grip & the AN clockwise while cutting her with really sharp wood blade... sure, you may get a few steel "straglers"... but if you just grind those off @ the end with yer binch grinder, you will be fine. Oh yea, remeber to put lots of duct-tape on there.
