I agree a bigger carb would be better...but I had a 13 to 1, .030 over 454 with bone stock 074 heads in a 3050 lb car with a powerglide and it ran 6.50's in the eighth with a 950 hp holley on it with a victor 454 R. Pulled strong to 6800 rpm. It was probably too small but it worked well on my motor.



P.S. Why the hell are they called a 950 if they flow 790? That sorta pisses me off cause that carb wasn't cheap. :evil:
