knova70;;;that is one sweet nova you have there..do you know why it did what it did to engine and what caused it?why i'm asking is i'm building a 540bbc/blown and alky injection also and hoping this won't happen to me.thought if you found the reason you had the fireball then maybe i can pervent mine from doing it.

The picture is of my old motor,the new aluminum one now is a smaller CID,I used sorta the same tune up on the new motor as the old one and all I can find out is that it leaned out going down the track,I took the whole fuel system and the injection apart and found nothing clogged,So I guess I just tuned it to lean,just make sure your tune up is rich when you make that first run,I should have made a 60ft shot before making the whole 1/8,but we all get excited and hold it to the floor!
