The thought of forking out 400 bucks a wheel for the Magnums or AlumaStars kills me.
But if it is a real safety issue I will have to I guess...cause I can't stand looking at these old "Tricks" or "AutoDrags" or whatever they are any longer.

Max tire height
According to the manufacturer, there is a height limit for conventional tires but it does not seem to apply to slicks. Here is an excerpt from their website:
Featuring Center Line's classic racing wheels with the convulted outer. These top-selling designs have left their definitive mark on the street and track. This is a modular aluminum wheel manufactured by riveting two wheel halves together back to back. Wheels are light weight and designed to go fast and look great. These wheels fit the vehicles listed below and much more. Just check your bolt pattern. Typically to fit any diamter wider than 9 inches requires careful measuring and/or modifications to the vehicle. Call us at 800-345-8671 x5 to discuss any questions including fitment advice...we have lots of it as well as diagrams. Center section of Convo Pro is a satin/machine finish; the outer is brilliantly finished to a hi-polish shine for a striking contrast. 30-inch max tire size (OK to run taller drag slicks). 1525 lb load rating per wheel.

I am in a similar situation but going to be using 33x21.5 Mickey Thompson sportman bias ply street tires.
I was planning to go with Centerline Convo pro's but now wondering if I have to go with the much more expensive Weld Aluma stars?
What rims are guys using with tall street tires?

ok then....well I guess that also leaves the Weld Woodward RT's. Not much else to choose from.

Is anyone else out there running a back half car with street tires over 32", there must be.
Any advice? The Welds are fine, just wanted more options for style.
