Blownalky3 , that was a very standup message you just wrote , I for one believe your side now 100% , the truth always comes out sooner or later. sounds to me like you went above and beyond and still got the short end of two short sticks..this young man made a HUGE mistake in life and I believe you will not hold it against him forever..you sound like that kind of guy..as far as his dad goes , thats a different story!!
Mr. NOTE , I truly hope you never do anything like this again ,PLEASE , there are some people in this world that have been at your front door way before now to take care of you in person!!!think before you act .

I hope this is done and over for you. Note, please do the right thing. I know all Paul asked was to make the honor payment but I think you owe him more than that. learning to do the right thing at a young age is a lesson well learned.
