Yella,
We were in Idaho this past Sept. The weather was very nice, nites 50's to low 60's, days, low mid 70's. Where we live, in South Georgia, it was 105-110 Heat Index at that time. But now, I don't want to go to Idaho!!!!! Today it was 75* and PC here.
By the way, Yella, I'm sure you already know it, but for those that don't, Idaho is very beautiful and full of friendly people! dgh

Now that's c-c-c-cold: Antarctica sets record of -135.8 degrees!

WASHINGTON — Feeling chilly? Here's cold comfort: You could be in East Antarctica, which according to new data set a record for soul-crushing cold.

Try 135.8 degrees Fahrenheit below zero; that's 93.2 degrees below zero Celsius, which sounds only slightly toastier. Better yet, don't try it. That's so cold scientists say it hurts to breathe.

I guess i shouldn't complain, it's only been in the mid 20's at nite and up to the mid 30's during the day for about a week, here in NE La. but raining almost everyday.
I hate this weather since i have no insulation in my shop it's the same inside as outside so i stay in the house and keep warm whatching the boob tube. And believe or not i'm less than 200 miles from the gulf coast.
This time last yr. i was mowing the grass.

Zip.

Starting to warm up a little in NW LA. The boss won't close the shop doors because he thinks people will think that we're closed. No matter how cold it is. It was 29 a couple of mornings ago and the shop was wide open. Ive started wearing multiple layers to combat the freezing temps. It sucks.

The past week we have had ice and a little snow. Lots of folks in our area lost power due to ice it all melted now most was gone on Sunday. Nothing like you guys in the northwest have dealt with.

lots of interesting weather. In Oregon, we got 12" of snow (& some ice) on the valley floor & I have had my CJ in 4WD since last Friday. Tried 2wd for awhile, but I have never seen a vehicle spin around so easy than a CJ w/a V8 & a locker... ridiculous! learn to drive sideways until 4th gear. the snow is going away now... we are glad.
