Default trans brake.

thought i had a bad solenoid ,so i bought a new tci one it worked fine in garage , first t.t. . then on second t.t. it failed. it will work if you push in by hand. so i just footbraked it the rest of the day. next morning when i unloaded the car i tried it and it works. seams to be a heat issue , any idea's? it is a powerglide. thanks.

Check your wiring. Make sure it has a good ground and power supply is there.

Bad or marginal grounds are 90 % of electrical issues.....Ideally all components will have a ground wire run to a common ground post that the battery is grounded to. Body panel ground points are not a good idea.
