Default DUI Distributor oil leak

I istalled a DUI distributor on my 79 Celica 20R. Got everything installed and wired up, but when I started the car, oil started leaking out of a small pin about three inches above the base of the distributor. I called LC Engineering and they told me to call Performance Distributors. I gotta call them tomorrow. But, for now, does anyone know a quick fix for this problem? I thought about just lowering my oil pressure a little ( it was a little high anyway) and pluging the hole. Will this burn up the distributor? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Wanted to get 'er runnin' for the weekend, but if i have to remove and return the distributor, i may not be able to. Thanks in advance.

Finally got in touch with Performance Distributors and they said it was OK to just plug the hole. Thanks for all the help!
