I believe they are all set to default to private Now...it use to be the way Tod said it was ...but no more.

as long as I can defriend them if I dont like what I see in there profile Im ok with the way it is. ether way is fine with me

I will accept the friend request, look at the profile, if there is no info or its vague I just remove them from my friends list. its pretty easy...
