Idono, the guy may be honest and upstanding, but there seems to be a few red flags here. You dont know if the trans is ok till you get it in the car anyway....
If it was my money, I would pass on this deal and buy new from a reputable (sp) trans shop, you are going to need a "good" tranny in that vette regardless, so this is no place to try to save a couple of bucks.....

ED you are 100% dead on thanks for telling me like it is...we get caught up in saving $500 here and there..but the tranny and drive line is not the place...Your right my friend..i will GO TOP QUALITY..
