Default front drum to disc brakes

want to change my 68 camaro from front drums to discs and am trying to decide between a factory set or after market race brakes. I can do the factory set a few hundred cheaper but dont wont to do the work if the stopping isnt way better than my drums, thanks for any advice or input

The factory type discs will be better that your drums, but the racing brakes are second to none.

IMO if you put the factory type brakes on you will regret not putting the others on.

Thank you,
Josh

discs are always going to be better then drum . i've used both factory & aftermarket liked both, whatever you do get a complete kit with the master to match.jmo.

The wilwood kits are easy as pie to install and depending on which kit you use, you will take a considerable amount of unsprung weight off the front.
