Pomona
Going to Pomona next weekend. Where in hell do people stay??? We went last year and I'm gonna say, it's not really in the best part of town. We finally found a motel a few miles east of the strip, felt like I needed to put a chair against the door in the room, we listened to sirens all nite. Didnt really leave a good feeling. Any thoughts?? Really dont want to drive any farther than we have to.

Sounds like you were close to Rialto Calif.About 20 mins west from the track is a area called Claremont or Monte Clare.Very nice area with quality hotels right off the freeway.Yea the Rialto area is not such a great place to visit..Hope this helps.

I'm jealous, wish I was going to see that race it ought to great event.
Top fuel is neck and neck, I hope Larry Dixon wins, even if I dont like his team, he's a good driver and is long oevrdue.
I hope he beats the pants off Schumacher.
Pro stock is pratically a wrap for Edwards, unless he stumbles.
Hight and Ashley are neck and neck in funny car, I'm rooting for the split tail of course.
Did ya'll catch that comment that snake made last weekend after they beat Dixon in the finals, said I never raced against a whole nation before...lol man I was rolling.
