Whell more bad news there is only one set left. I paid the extra $45 and got front runners to. So all 4 new tires shipped cost me the same as 1 pair off goodyears. I did not want to risk it they said they may be 2 to 3 month back log. My Dad is looking out for me.

Hi Zip-

I bought them last fall on the 2 for 1 sale @ Les Schawb here in Oregon on my 69 Camaro I just got rid of. Got front runners & both Toyo slicks (29"X15X9.5)... $385.00!!! That is a deal. I never got the chance to try them a Woodburn, but I did put them through some abuse.

my lord my Goodyears were $600 after shipping.

I ran slicks that were 10 years old before and they still worked ok. maybe my car just works well but I had no problem with the tires being so old. As long as they are not dry rotted I'll use em. I can't afford new slicks every year just to horse around with the car a few times a year.

I just ordered a pair of 32 X 14.5-15 Toyo slicks in the buy 1 get 1 free offer from Treadzone.com. They were $258.95 + shipping. The salesman said they had a bunch more that size in stock if anybody else is interested. Shipping to MT is going to run about $100 he thought.

I bought a set of 32X14.5X15's from Les Schwab, last thursday, UPS are surely proud of their little brown trucks, shipping to Louisana was $133.14 actual cost and they will be here on the 18th. Still 1/2 the cost of a set of GY's the same size.

Todd my tires are 10yrs old also and they still worked but are showing dry rot and the last thing i need is a tire blow out at 100 plus MPH.
GY's are now $350.00 per tire in that size plus shipping.
