Red ears, highbacks, stink pots, snappers, soft shells, lager heads all of them buggers in our lake, but by far the red ear is the most prolific.
The boy caught a huge softshell a few weeks back on a trot line, at least a 30lbr.
It's not by chance I know this mess, Belzoni Ms, is also big into turtle farming. It's a huge export operation.
Seems them chinese like baby turtles and turtle eggs. :shock:

well im from mississippi..and theres alot more saying..like over Younder.instead over there..youonto instead of you want to..and tomotas is Maters and Taters..I was born in Red Bay Alabame and mississippi is about the same thing and Tn likes there hodowns lol..Well i like the country living and i been in alabama and mississippi my whole life..I guess thats why i wasnt any good in English Class LOL..well if anyone is in Mississippi its a pretty good state..but like everyone else it gets old..well hope everything goes well and as far as frog legs Thats the best it taste like chicken..Later Taters
