chassis cert ???
all these years im under the impression i had to cert. my chassis to race and now im hearing that as long as it passes tech and i stay above 9.99 i can run but cant run any nhra event with out being cert. :? i dont run any nhra events and rather not have to give them greedy bastards any more of my money... so anyone have a better understanding.... cause now im confused.....lol

thats what I have always known, I detuned my alcohol Camaro so it would run about 6.50 in the 1/8th. I think the cutoff for that was 6.39. I still had to have seatbelts, track tech inspection, etc. but my chassis did not need certified and I did not need a license.

6.40 in the 1/8.
10.00 in the 1/4.
Just make SURE all your Safty Gear is up to Date,and MOST Trackes will put a sticker on your Car saying that its been TECHED @ a Certain Track!
I Run Mid 5's with My Car,and keep the Car Cert curent.
Realy by Certing the Car,it does INCREASE the Value!!!
I Run a few NHRA Tracks,but NEVER a NHRA Event,so if the Car is Current and the Belts,and Your Helmet,Suit is Good,then things are Good!
