Sorta off topic but ...I used to work with a guy, (I'll call him Jim,) who was one of those guys we all know...you know the one who doesn't want to give you anything for a car or part..but once HE OWNS it it is suddenly rare and worth big bucks. He is also the type that would screw you in a heartbeat and laugh about it later..WE all know this type of guy at some point. Well my dad and I were at a swap meet and there he was. He had a booth with various parts for sale. Some sort of nerdy looking guy was looking at some BBC Exhaust manifolds. Jim walks over and says "Yeah those are real good ones.Came off a 69 Chevelle SS396" the guy looks up and says "They're off a truck." The Dude knew what he was looking at andthe fact that my Dad and I were standing there watching JIM stumble and blubber around looking like a fool, trying to act like he hadn't just tried to lie to the guy was priceless.

Off a truck! Priceless!! I don't know schitte about any production parts. What little I know about factory stuff is BBF which I outgrew years ago. I just don't have a need for any OEM parts.

Don't forget all those 302 boss motors that is in every mustang out there.

When most people have never seen a boss engine.

I went to the ford show in Columbus Ohio a couple of years ago with a friend of mine and i think everybody there selling parts had one they just sold .

Now, the ULTIMATE combo would be a Corvette with a small block Mopar !!

Well I was kinda thinking the perfect combo would be a Vette motor in a Vette!! I loved my dark blue '99. SHOULD HAVE NEVER SOLD IT!! I love the 2006 Z06!! They actually have Vette motors in them too!! LOL. This thread is getting better and better!
