How did you get your login name or nickname?

Well I got my nickname when I was in the Army. My last name is Duerksen. Nobody could ever pronounce it right(even with me telling them how) so one day I just said call me Dirk. Well one of my units I was called Dirk, Dirka, Dirka Dirka, ETC. ETC. and so that name prolly will always stay with me. My wife even calls me that.

I have two boys who have gone where no boys have gone before and done everything together.
From Crushing an SS convertible I had with one of my highlifts to jumping the house with a motor cycle, these boys have pulled off some of the craziest stuff all before they were 15 years old. It got worse as they got older.
All while I was out of town on business.
They have never done anything to on purpose or to hurt my feelings intentionally. They were just very curious and always wanted to do try something new. Anything that had to do with speed.
By the grace of god they were never injured, but they know I owe them more than one A$$ whoppin....
My boys have lead quite the life and I am very proud of them.

I'm Bigcube on many other boards but it wasn't available here so I added the dart to the end. I also own the DNS name www.bigcube.org for my homepage. It dates back to the late 80's when I built my first stroker motor before it was common. That was a expression around our street racing scene for a stroker motor, there wasn't very many back then... although now with a piddly 557 cubes is small
