Default Compression for blower

I have a 511 BBC 12:5:1 goods heads etc. wanting to run a supercharger on alcohol. Iam sure cam will need changed should block be oringed? MLS head gaskets enough? not going real crazy maybe about 1300h.p.total. I guess whats the best way to go without spending a ton of cash or just get another motor??

12.5 compression for a blower is getting pretty high. Will limit the tuning window. Normal use includes o ringed block and receiver grooved heads or vise versa and copper head gaskets. SCE has some copper gaskets that have seal rings inside the gasket. You could use thicker heads gaskets to lower you compression. Check with Cometic on their MLS gaskets.
