This ain't a happy subject but I was wondering, If you wreck your car at the track and you are injured what insurance would you/ could you file a claim with? To be honest I can't think of one that I have that would want to cover me,and would probably drop me! Including life insurance.

If you race at an NHRA facility and you are a member there is some insurance from them that will help.

I don't believe conventional car insurance will cover it while racing. Bummer

You will need to ask your major medical isp if they cover you while racing. I had an in depth conversation with our ins rep. She told me as long as I wasn't a " professional driver " I was still covered. Im far from a professional driver! Lol

Things like ins., dot and income taxes are reasons I stay away from any sponsors, big lettering on my trailer or truck or anything that makes me look like a business.
I may be a little paranoid, but it's not paranoia when they ARE after you!!

Rabbit has it correct!!

Just tell our friends to drag your body out onto the highway. Your insurance will cover you from there!

Don't worry be happy!!
