the Slipping off is not a bad thing ..what i was really driving at is if that pedal ever stayed on the floor ( for what ever reason) its gonna be an interesting pass...?..JMO

Sounds like either a 1/2" Sq Tooth belt, or a belt that's too tight, or both. The only time I've had any of mine whine that loud at idle I could play guitar notes on the belt.

You are correct on both,but it sure sounds cool and turns many heads 8) I've found the sweet spot with the belt so it won't damage anything.

Just be careful. That's hard on the blower snout bearings as well as the crank snout and #2 main bearing.
