I think the crankshaft HP will be more in the 440-450 range. The combination sounds good but your real HP limiting factor is the cubic inches. The other issue I see will be traction. That considered, I would say 7.90 - 8.20, in the 8th. Theoretically, there is more e.t. in that HP. I'm just thinking that without slicks you will not see it...

Do yourself a favor and keep the max RPM's and shift point more in the 6800 or so range. I don't think there will be a difference in 6800 and 7200, but your engine will last longer at 6800.

My opinion is worth just what you paid for it.

Good Luck & Great Racing ! ! !

just gonna be ran on the street mostly anyway not gonna see 7000 alot like a all out drag car would it's only gonna see that when i need to shut someone up as far as c.i i was gonna go 383 but my machinist said it's a pain in the a$$ to notch the block and it really wouldn't be worth the hassle if it was just gonna be a street car for the most part, the sportsman pros are suposed to have a wrinkle wall design and be a drag compund tire but we will see how it hooks up i guess

thanks

The best estimate for any Drag Car's performance comes in the first pass that you make clear through the quarter . .

Anything before it is a wild assed guess and anything after it is hopeful thinking . .

Heheheheheheheheheh . . . . .

Its not that hard to clearence the block and in my opinion well worth the extra money for the power gain and flatter torque curve.

Just guess... in a body @ 3600-3700lbs, @450HP w/488's & 4000 stall you should be able to run 15 seconds or less.

Nah seriously, you will be a serious threat on the street from light to light. Not one kid with a FART CAN & A LAP-TOP will touch you... go get em.
