As often as the FRAM filter thing comes up on here,I think a sticky with the links posted here would be a great addition to the engine forum. Just my opinion but it would be easier to point people to the oil filter sticky than try to convince them.

Check for a internal oil leak such as the oil galley plugs behind the cam. if the engine has a leak inside it will find the easiest out. go to you tube, i had the same problem once. it was the plug not sealing even though i have installed tons of them. put a air hose where the oil pump feeds and check.

no oil
got a friend with a 355 did the same thing changed oil filter it was fixed for 3 races then started again changed filter but this time went with the k&n race filter (both other times it had a fram) now been to 6 races 2 test and tunes still going strong
