That's actually backward. Pump is gravity fed with pressure on the out side.

I don't run one before the pump. :wink:
A/B test one with the filter before and after the pump, report back with the egt and o2 readings I've seen it first hand (atleast with a 8an earls in line filters after pump) they can cause a bit of restriction.

I quit running filters and use a outterwears filter when pumping fuel now.

NO WAY I'm running a 8an filter.

The BG filter is screwed directly into the Areomotive pump on mine.
Feeding this with an 8 aint' gonna happen. lol

8 an from the pump is common on just about any fuel log application.

u see Aeromotive, they suggest associate degree alcohol one hundred fifty steel mesh filter before the pump and a paper forty mesh filter before the carb. i assume everybody did not move to an equivalent filter faculty in school.

I simply use the one hundred fifty mesh before the pump. Not an excessive amount of restriction, nonetheless keeps out any larger debri from reaching to the needle and seat on a carb.
