im running a 470 bbc about 13-8 compression ,engine run great in my car with 7al 2 and power pro coil. I just put it in my brothers comaro and now it misses and runs terrible. he has msd 6al with blaster coil. looking for a reason to why its running so bad now, thanks for any help, I was going to run pinks all out this weekend but can't go now,car not running right. :cry: :cry:

that 6al/blaster combo should have no issues with that setup. Id start looking elsewhere, wiring, plugs, wires, cap,rotor. Does it have a crank trigger ? if so gap on that.

If you still have the pro coil from your car try that also, coils do go bad sometimes.

Firing order? easy to get it mixed up when in a hurry or maybe dropped and cracked a plug. Start it in the dark to see if any arching wires.

thanks for your input guys, I did start the car in the dark but didnt see no arcing anywhere. put my 7al 2 plus box in thursday morning no where to check it out.so i left for joliet ill. first pass 10.11 poping and missing, went back to the pits and put my power pro coil on. next pass 6.05 in the 1/8 114 mph 9.50 in1/4 @142 mph. nice to be back to normal. i'll be back to 131 motorsports park now. it was frustrating there for a while. thanks again for your help, ray geeting@sky high racing.
