Here it is guys,,,TURN IT UP...."LITTLE SHOUT OUT ON THE MIDDLE VID"

My best ET @ 3004LBS STREET TRIM ALL MOTOR

5.994 @114.148 MPH
60FT 1.323
330FT- 3.861
R/T- .076

This was leaving at 4,000 rpm on the tranbreak.....the car was leaving good...it was a nice day but still fairly warm ..i GOT SUNBURNED..still in 80's......the car ran straight as arrow..it carried the front tires about 80 ft...i HAVE NO WHEELIE BARS...

i still feel with a little carb work and the intake change from team "g" to my ported "454r"...i will pick up a little more...i DO NOT know if i will get out of the 5.90's natutrally aspirtated...but i will have to say the way the car drove and being street legal i am more than happy with this..i will leave it up to my other car to push the limits....

but this was fun...SORRY TOM I LOST THE SIGNAL DRIVING BACK TO THE PITS..YOU KNOW WE ARE IN THE HOLE UP THERE..

THANKS- bRIAN

PS...The camera video is more for pics than video's..she also cut out a vid short...sorry !!...this is the best i could do..

Yes I ran with the old Team "g" intake..i am still waiting for my 454 "r" to be delivered..then i am gonna have the base ported and gasket matched..it will not take me long to get it back on as soon as i can get the intake..its coming from California....

do you think it will help alot?

and ohh yes..my car is street legal car..( tagged titled insured..they have to come out and look at car to insure,,cause i got collectors insurance on it ) all lights work, orginal glass, door regulators in side glass roll up and down, orginal dash, all steel body but hood..nice carpet and head liner, 2 seats....it weighed 3004lbs with me in the car WET..
as you can see in one of the vids..the white car beside me was a cut up drag car, rattling the fenders off..he ran a 6.40 and you see how i pulled him...according to the time sheet I have in my hand he had a 1.41 60 ft to my 1.32 60 ft.....i got a bad habit of red lighting beacuse i am used to street racing..you never get caught 1-100th of a second in a mans hands coming down...lol...so either i cut a super light or i will cut a -004 red or something like that..i have NO delay Box..i am leaving on the bottom bulb with my eyesight and finger reaction off the tranny button...LOL

( remember i have never claimed to be a bracket guy)..but i love to watch...maybe one day

i drove my car down to the local 7-11 to get a coke Saturday night after i adjusted the valves...because of the 500 gear...about 50/55 mph is a good speed for it...only taching about 3,000 rpm...lol...i coast a lot also....

what do you think i can expect from the ported 454 r..
also tonight i will try to scan my Time slip and post..

as i have always said my background comes from street racing when it was the thing to do (79-80 on up to 1988)..then it died off up in my area..the law got to bad also....not any of this rice burning crap...lol....

i guess thats why i like pinks,,without all the arguing..we hada little of the arguing back them but a man back then run what he brought..he was too proud to whine like some of those guys do.....

anyhow thanks for the post hammer..i feel good today..

all i can say is " its damn hard to break that 5.99 mark with a heavier car 3k+ lbs at least it was for me to do...

thanks Brian

Hey Brian
That's AWESOME. Sounds like your pretty exited and you should be. Don't worry, good weather and some fine tuning you'll be well in to the mid 5's no problem.
Congrat's Brian, couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
