I have my springs at 1.905 to 1.965 installed height. Maybe I should shim all of them closer to 1.900 to get few lbs more of seat pressure?

i would go heavier than (needed) to get the job done to be safe
i wouldnt want to float a valve kiss a piston,and shuck the valve keepers - resulting dropping a valve,and ruining a motor
for the few bucks buy what you need
valve designs are so a weak spot in a motor
