Gear change?
I'm considering changing my 3.73's to 4.11's should I see much of a 60ft difference? my set up is a mild sbc,4spd,12 bolt 373,26x10x15 m/t slicks. My previous 1/4 mile times have been very disapointing and every one says its my gear ratio? my 60 ft has been between 2.05 and 2.09

the 3:73 gear ratio is a good street/strip the 4:11 works just as good
on the street as well, what carb and intake are you using, and
you said mild sbc, roller or hydralic cam? with the right combo the
3:73 had worked great with my 383, if your sbc is stock you might
try some mods to boost up hspwr, using the 4:11 with no changes
to the block might give you a slower time, not sure, have never tested
on a mild sbc, i could be wrong, good luck bud

yea with that combo you would benefit with the gear change, the
vic jr is a very good flowing intake, you might consider a 850 dp
running that compression, you will always have to use high octane,
your cam is over .500 lift, is it roller or hydralic? good luck bud
