I'll be buying JE's again next time I build a motor for the simple fact that ARUSSELL is taking the time to educate people when he doesn't have to.

I Have a Question for MR.ARUSSELL?
I have a set of JE BBC Pistons that i really NEED to replace the whole set,but was Kicking around a Partial set???
Part # 111721 then below that is 519818
4.375 Bore
Heres what is WEIRD?C/H i measure 1.400.
Is this a Shelf Piston and can you give me some Pricing?
The Combo is a 10.200 T/D BBC Block,it did have a 4.280 Stroke Crank,and a 6.635 Rod.
Going to Ditch the 4.280 Crank and go with a 4.250 Crank and a Set of Standard 6.635 Rods,2.200 Big End.The Old Rods are 2.100 on the Big End.
I also have 2-of the BAD pistons that i would like to send you for your PROFESSIONAL Opinion,as to what Caused the Damage???
Thanks

I have a 515 CID motor that is ready to assemble
I wish to make a 540 or 548 procharged motor
Block 9.8000 deck BBC
4.000 stroke Bryant Crank
6.358 Oliver rod
4.530 JE Piston flat top with slight valve cut relief & cool coated

How simple or difficult will this be or better yet, how many new parts am I going to have to buy.
