Up till now i have used penzoil 25W50 but now i got as a sponsor Mobil1 reseller and he offered me Mobil1 Racing 10W60 for free. Is it ok to use with 540 bbc nitrous 13:1 motor?

Does he pay you anything plus the oil or just the oil?

Really, I suppose, it's one of those "To each his own" decisions . .

In ours, we use Amsoil Synthetic, but, if you watch it closely and change it frequently, because with a Nitrous engine, your oil is a diagnostic tool indicating the health of your engine, I don't suppose Mobil 1 is any worse or better . .

I'm sure everyone here that uses another brand have their own reasons and opinions on this . .

I've used Mobil 1 10-30 in my motor since it was new.
No problems at all, but like all oils for highway use the EPA is changing them. I'm going to run Brad Penn from now on too.
