I had actually seen that one before, but it was a good reminder. Of course the flames shooting out of my blow off plate at night was enough to scare the poo out of me!

You NEVER want to EVER see a blower backfire. It's lighting all of the fuel in the manifold, in the blower, up to the base of the carburator.

Just once can do damage to the blower.

Yup! Amazing what a stuck needle seat assembly can do. There was a ton of fuel in that blower. Dumb part is that I KNEW is was running wrong so instead of shutting down I kept going. And this was on the street. Live and learn.
