Hi all,
I really don't have problems with customers watching me. Takes me longer to do this because of explaining but I love helping people and I guess I also love to teach but I am like most of you I am human and as a fellow member of the Humanoids. I can at times do some really stupid things. I can also make mistakes. I do my level best not to but I know I am not perfect. I am probably more meticoulas at just about anything I do than most people anyone knows but I have to be certain in my own mind that each job I do is my best. I have a pet expression that some of my friends don;'t like. The expression is this "It is either right or it is wrong. Good enough doesn't cut it with me"
I know I end up coming across on these boards like a know it all. I apologise to you all for that. I am 62 years old and re-built my first engine when I was 15 years old. I have been working on Hot Rods of my own and of friends since 1960. I have been in several different forms of the performance industry including Car Stereo at the highest levels at one time or another. I built and owned a Championship Car Stereo car that had to compete only against other professionals in the same inductry becuase it was a Pro Category car. I won a few events with it and placed in the top five at every event I attended except one. I also receieved some second and a few third place wins.
I went back to buildng engnes and doing performance work in 1994 and have been oficially in business since. I own and had a full 16 ft chassis jig for constructing new cars from scratch from the ground up beginning with some pieces of tubing. Currently my jig is in HOuston at a friend's chassis shop being rented by him from me.
Beats me how I got started on this tangent.
Anyway, I have no problem with being watched by customers and them asking questions. I guess too many of my customers end up as friends. At least that is what neighbors tell me. I just like people though.

I appreciate the reply Lively... I am not really big on forums. A lot of times, things get out of hand on the forums and I'd 'd prefer to look someone in the eye versus the 'puter thing anyway.

Mr. Ed,
I see in your profile that you are located in Plano. Perhaps you are my neighbor. You may have to pass by my house to get home.

scouts for the power above before the storm

I watch a lot of Mexican Tv, myself. My reasons are simple. On Mexican TV there are more boob shows. Really hot women with nice jugs.
In case any wonder what am I doing looking at those girls and thinking. I do breathe.I was mde to be man, not queer.
Mexican TV Rocks.
