You would not be the first to question the Monza’s performance trust me I don’t take it personal.
I was surprised my self at the first 2 passes of the year. My previous best was 10.02 made a converter change and some other small changes this winter
Car race weight 2800
Density altitude was 1376ft on this pass
60ft 1.4421
594ft 5.8929
1/8 et 6.3059
1/8 mph 108.94
¼ et 9.8305
¼ mph 139.44

Good job Joe. See you at the track in a few weeks.

I run a 383 sbc, flat tappet cam, Dart Iron Eagle Heads, J E pistons,14-1,SHP Dart block, Hughs Glide Trans, with an APD 817 Alky Carb. We have ran a best of 10.14 at 131.28 m.p.h. at Auto Club Dragway, which is a slower track then Fomoso in Bakersfield,Ca. The car is all steel and original glass and weighs 3125 lbs. with driver.

NHRA Open in Pueblo, CO Friday and Saturday, Brand new Track surface . . Air averaged 7600'. The Ape went 1.41/9.71-140.+ . . The surface temp was 68°. Cool and wet all weekend, but the track was great . .

You flatlanders need to come up here where race cars run like a tow truck . . . Heh, heh . . .
