drive line angle help!

Default drive line angle help!

I have a 5 to 10 degree angle from tranny to driveline is this to much, somthing just doesnt seem right.

What are you working with??? Latter bar, 4 link, stock suspension????
Back halved, tube chassis???????????????

4-link back halfed framed from doors back.

You need neg 2 deg of pinion angle.. Now this is with the car on it's wheels and race ready.. You adjust with the left upper bar only. Make sure that the right upper bar is out or keep it neutral or loose. As you change the pinion angle with the left upper bar the right upper is going to get tight so you will have to loosen it every time you turn the left bar...Get it :mrgreen:

my engine is pointing down hill and that makes my drive line to trany have a sharp angle.

The engine needs to be leveled first or as close to level as possible, -1 would be ok. What I do is take the carb off and use the carb flange as a plane and set a small bubble level on it and level the motor. I bet someone has either fabbed up a tranny crossmember that sits to low or you have the incorrect OEM peice for the motor tranny combo you have.

Didn,t know about your engine........So I agree with charles and do get the engine on the level and then go from there :shock:
