Do you plan to stretch the rear wheel openings?

If it wasnt full of all the interior stuff I would post pics but it has already been tubbed and the slicks that are on it now I measured with a tape measure cuz I was curious are 13 1/2" wide. The sticker on them say that they are 29.5 x 11.5

13.5" Is that sidewall to sidewall or actual tread width ?
As far as 'stretching' the wheel openings, I think he means opening them up to show the complete tire. Also makes for easier mounting/demounting ops:

That is actual tread width without the sidewalls. Oh and as far as strecthing the fender wells that would be a no. Unless it is very difficult to remove the tire then maybe I might.

Here is a pic of the rear wheelwell that I did on my old Vega. It is 4 inches wider than stock to accomodate a taller tire.

Looking up close at it there is plenty of room for the size tires that are on there now. I actually have to get the rear set up checked to see if it is square with the car cuz to me it looks like the right rear tire is farther back then the left rear tire

Hey Dirka, is that chassis certified? And if so to what? Just curious for the engine you're talking about building, just got me thinking. I know guys that sounds scary all by itself.

Its not certified or will it ever pass for cert. I am going to be having the cage cut out and replaced with a sturdier one with more bars than it has now. Some of the welds on this one dont have the penitration that it needs to cert.
