Any TIG welding tips??

I'll have to pick up some red tungston tomorrow at the welding shop. I noticed what you mentioned on the hardness of the weld, Tig with 70s v.s. MIG. Wow that stuff is like grinding concrete. Thanks again! I appreciate you taking the time to help...

I copied and printed this hole thread. I going to hang it over my welder. Very good advice on laying a bead that strong and pretty.
Now if I can just convince topspeed that my car goes right with more HP. lol. :lol: :wink:

Kwikracing, I am using a tungsten that is 3/32 and has an orange tip on it. I also have both 1/16" and 1/8th 70-s filler rod. A lot of the advise I got yesterday and today is making my welding experience fun compaired to yesterday. I turned the gas up to 22 lbs and have kept the tungsten sharp. Thanks.
