Default 1971 Chevelle 383 Stroker 4:11 wheel size help

Hello, I have a 1971 Chevelle 383 Stroker, 2850 stall 4:11 posi rear end. I have Weld draglites front and back 15x8 245/60R15 in rear, 15x4 165R15 in front.

Right now I run 3000 RPM at 50-55 mph, I want to be able to run on the turnpike with my gear, any suggestions as far as tire size, wheel size.

I would Ike to be able to drive 75-80 and be under 3000 RPM.

Is it possible? With my gear setup? Any suggested width, tire and offset sizing?

I would like to do maybe 10" width rear , 7 - 8 width in front.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

700r4 overdrive. I dont think you will find the tires to drop the rpm that low. JMO Good luck

That overdrive info is good, but not affordable, just had the 350 rebuilt.
It would be cheaper to drop the gear in the rear end.

A friend suggested that I pose this question. He thought that playing with wheel and tire size would solve my problem.

As I was planning on changing my draglites to something else.
