it makes me feel better knowing that that has happened to experienced pros..... i still have the three inch piece of cylinder my rod knock out of the block hahaha its a suvinier of stupidity

Oh, you bet. Down to short rounds and motor was way too hot. Number 3 rod broke which pushed piston into head and cracked water jacket at intake runner. Water and steam was puking out of the Holley. :cry:
