It can be done a few different ways. A complete (DO IT YOURSELF KIT) can be purchased, A (Partial Kit) can also be done, and when finished with that shipped back, where then it will be covered with the CARBON X material and then returned to the customer, OR a appointment can be made where they can come to the Shop or Track, and do the installation. This Kit is currently being used through out the Drag Racing industry by several top teams, and are very happy with the results.

How thick is the padding that you have?

There is no padding just a metal seat

Isn't it removable?
Mine is held in by dzus fasteners.
