roller lifters vs plain solid

question, never used solid lifters-
are they solid,and pump no oil through them?,so u would need a oil rail to lube the rockers?or do they still pump a lil oil through them?

i understand the precision of them so they dont fade with heated oil,and less adjusting, just curious

Solids still pass oil, the big gain is the ability to go higher spring pressure and RPM. For the street they are a little noisy and do require periodic adjustment. You can get some pretty stout hydraulics if you need...
