brake problem

Default brake problem

i have a 70 monte put new rear drum brakes and new disc brakes in the front, when i got the car it only had the master cylinder i put the brake booster, i blead the brakes and not geeting a good pedal will it help to hook up the vacuum line from the booster,

Power brakes won't work correctly without the vacuum line attached and the engine running.
