Cam ID help
I recently aquired a used camshaft/roller lifters/pushrods here. The seller DID NOT include camcard. Now will not answer phone oe e-mails to him.
THis is info from end of cam
J 9515 etched
24-24 etched
311/321 R/O etched but very hard to read
C1 is stamped
Any and all help appreciated. If Id'd, I can get camcard from manufacturer, right?
Thanks

Can't help on the ID, but as far as getting a cam card, that depends. If the manufacturer is still in business, maybe. And if it is a custom grind, also maybe. I had an Isky cam in a motor build by a local crate builder, he gives no cam card, just the lash specs. Isky would give no specs either as his grind is exclusive to him. They sent me the specs to one they said was "pretty close" when I build a new engine and wanted to degree the cam...

Call around to your local machine shops, and ask specifically if they have, or know anyone who has a "Cam Doctor".
It'll cost about 25-30.00 to have them Cam Doctor it.
