Yeah G they are the weld 2.0's I love the look of them but they were almost 1300 with tires and tax, Oh well its only money right...lol... Thats what I tell the wife anyway.

I am not a big block fan since I have only owned one other and it was a junk 468 that only lived 22 passes. I got a good deal on this 496 and it was built right and has good parts in it. Its 14:1, .714 roller, gm 990 heads. Should run 9.70's or 80's I hope in my 3200 pound boat. Well see in about a month I guess.

To me, Small blocks are for Racing and Big blocks are for Towing.

Dam Tod that was from right after the 468 grenaded! I technically didnt build it...lol... picked it up carb to pan from a good friend in a trade deal.

Thanks, I put the grille in just for the look. It had one of those decals that I think looked like poop. It cooled good before and I really didnt notice much difference. I run 16 volts which makes my cooling system work excellent.
