Default Made some changes... need input

Previous setup:
1965 Nova chassis car ladder bar 2870lbs
540BBC 870hp est, turbo 400, Dana 60 4.56 gear, 33x16.5x15 107 1/4 rollout. Ran 9.00-9.04 in a three day period. 60' times were 1.30-1.31 and crossed the stripe at 7200.

Changed rear tire to a 32x16x15 102 1/2 rollout. Hoping for a little better 60' times and 74-7500 at the stripe to be up in the power a little better. What do you guys think it will do?

Converter stalls 5800. Been shifting at 7200. Does anyone think my 60' times seem slow to be able to run 9.00? My best pass of 8.99@ 149 was with a 60' of 1.31. :?

This was using the wallace site using the 60 it gave these stats take that for what it is
60 Foot 1.31 330 Foot 3.78 660 Foot 5.95 660 MPH 114.30 1000 Foot 7.82 1/4 Mile ET 9.42 1/4 Mile MPH 140.59

Mike as you know my junk is not as fast as yours but here's my thoughts on it.
I suspect the converter is on the low side of the sweet spot
and it will like the shorter tire (gear change)
Also with the shorter tire you will be raising the ladder bar angel slightly

Thanks Joe, I should've checked that site myself. It's in my fav's.

Someone else wondered if I'm tripping the 60' with my rear tires? Does that seem possible. I know my car leaves pretty good but not sure if it carries them that far out.

One more though the 60 beam is set at 10" height to trip that with the rears you'd have to carry them well past the 60
Does that make sense?

Default 60's

Mike,
I would think your 60's should be in the mid 1.20's!Like 1.25ish.
My Cars alot heavier than yours and will go 1.200,and I'm looking for 1.15-.16.

Yeah Joe, I was kinda thinking the same thing. I don't think it carries them that far either.

Yeah Greg, I would like to see mid 1.20's after the tire change. I'll hope to find out in a couple weeks.
