Default Vaccum pump

I have a gz pro pump and it is great. Ive had aerospace and hated it. Ive also had the the moroso 4 vane which is close to the gz. I run a 638 with two kits and without the pump it dyno 1208 and 1241 with it in motor so it was worth the cost. Also leaks are a thing of the past and the motor runs much cleaner. If your budget wont let you purchase one the electric pump off a newer corvette or crown vic will work. My friend have one on a 565 that gets the job done.

Just out of curiosity how long has it lasted? I here some people have them run forever and some people claim they burn up in a short time.

Here's an excellent article on vacuum pumps...even though promoted by GZ.
